Refund Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

This policy applies to subscriptions to retentix, operated by Osman Nuri Uluhan, a sole proprietor established in Turkey, trading as retentix.

Who you bought from

retentix is sold through Paddle, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase: it takes the payment, issues your invoice, and handles VAT and sales tax. Refunds are processed through Paddle and are returned to the payment method you used.

Paddle sells through different companies depending on where you are. The one that sold to you is named on your invoice.

Your contract for the service itself is with us, on our Terms of Service.

Cancelling

You can cancel from your account settings at any time, without contacting us and without giving a reason.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You keep full access until then and you are not charged again. We do not refund the remainder of a period you have used — but you are also never billed for a period you did not want.

Export your data before you cancel. Your CSV export is available while your account is active.

Changing your plan

Moving to a lower plan takes effect immediately, not at the end of the period. The features the higher plan carried stop being available at once, and the lower price applies from your next invoice onwards.

Nothing is charged at the moment you move down, and nothing comes back for the rest of the period you have already paid for. That period was bought at the higher price and is not refunded or pro-rated — the saving reaches you on your next bill rather than this one.

Moving to a higher plan works the other way round: the difference for the rest of the current period is charged when you confirm the move, and your billing provider shows you the amount before you agree to it.

The 30-day promise in the next section is about your first payment on a subscription. Changing plan later does not affect it.

Refunds

We refund your first payment in full if you ask within 30 days of it. You do not need to give a reason, and it does not matter how much you used the service in the meantime.

Renewals are not refunded. You can cancel at any time and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you are never billed for a period you did not want.

These 30 days do not replace anything you already have. Paddle, as the seller of record, operates its own discretionary refund window of 14 days. And if you are a consumer, the law of your own country may give you a right to withdraw from the purchase. Our promise is longer than the first and stands alongside the second — whichever gives you more is the one that applies.

A charge taken in error is a separate matter and no window applies to it. If you were billed twice, or billed after you had already cancelled, tell us whenever you notice and we will put it right.

If your situation is unusual, write to us anyway. We would rather look at it than hide behind a policy.

We do not refund on the basis of results. retentix records what your customers choose; it cannot guarantee that any particular number of them will stay.

How to ask

Email hello@retentix.co or use our contact form, with the email address on your account and the date of the charge. You can also raise it directly with Paddle through the receipt they sent you — either route works, and going to them does not disadvantage you with us.

We aim to respond within two business days. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle and normally reach your bank within five to ten business days, depending on your card issuer.

Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, please write to us before asking your bank to reverse the charge. A chargeback costs us a fee and takes weeks to resolve, and we can almost always sort the problem out faster ourselves. We may suspend an account with an unresolved chargeback until it is settled.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory right you have under the consumer law of your own country of residence. Where such a right gives you more than this policy does, that right applies.
